Smart Workplace Sessions is a new webinar series, with powerful and compact talks with experts of the real estate, facility and workplace management industry. The spring-term of 2021 will comprise of at least 6 parts, and will continue from there in the autumn. The series is made possible through cooperation with smart office solution provider Optimaze, together with its global and local partners.
We are about a year into “the biggest remote working experiment” the world has ever seen. A new era of “hybrid”, “flexible” and “distributed” work lies ahead. This brings up a lot of questions for workplace development efforts going forward, and a demand for more information and dialogue around what makes for better workplaces, has emerged. The big questions revolve around what, why and how best to support it.
Smart Workplace Sessions takes a value-based approach to smart technologies, and talk about optimizing Property for the ‘four bottom lines’ in a sustainable way. How can businesses leverage smart technologies and data, for the benefits of employees, employers, the environment and society all at once?
Wednesday, February 3rd 2021, saw the successful kick-off to the new webinar series, with our first expert guest speaker, Susan Clarke, Research Director, Verdantix. To bring all audiences on board to the basics, the first segment was titled “The Complete Beginner's Guide to Smart Offices”. Future speakers include experts from research firm Leesman Index, Tampere University, facility management provider Coor Management Services, and workplace strategy consultant firm GoToWork.
